@StarYeen_ @PersonthePerso2 Also, I don't disagree that the plot is the worst aspect. If you read between the lines of my original reply, that's pretty much what I'm saying. The plot is bad because it's jumbled and doesn't focus on anything. It's cramming as many references into the movie without substance.

@StarYeen_ @PersonthePerso2 Well, he's definitely the worst in the movie, only rivaled by Pratt as Mario. I wouldn't call his performance "perfect", either. It was serviceable in moments, sure, but that's about as good as it gets. And I say this as someone who enjoys Powell as an actor.

There is 100% a middle ground between throwing in every character you can in your adaption like Mario and dripfeeding characters every movie like Sonic Like I don’t think we needed Fox McCloud in a Mario Galaxy but I also don’t think we needed to wait 4 movies for Amy lol
