Hiya! I actually relate to this a lot. I’m usually pretty quiet at first, but I’ve been trying to put myself out there more lately. I’m really into gaming, voice acting, music, and content creation. I also love deeper conversations and will absolutely ramble if someone gets me talking about characters, lore, psychology, or anything interesting 😅

It can be more than just frustrating. I keep seeing creators in panic because AI moderation is removing their accounts entirely for false reads and no human intervention, specifically vtubers. There’s a parallel issue with false copyright strikes right now too for content creators in general. It’s a huge issue that needs to be addressed properly, and isn’t.

@Syrae_VT @ironmouse Yeah, a lot of people feel like AI moderation has become too strict lately. Sometimes it blocks normal stuff and just ends up frustrating users instead of helping.

I’m not one to agree with broad judgements like that. It’s unfortunate that there’s likely a reason for her to have that belief, but ultimately it’s untrue. It’s like you have a bunch of red apples in front of you, and so you decide that all apples everywhere are red. They’re not.

As a man, what’s your reaction when a woman says “All men are trash”?

You know, as a very small streamer I am already well versed in the approaching sales pitch chatter. They hop in stream, ask casual questions (how’s the stream? How’s your experience with the game?) sometimes toss in a compliment (or a critique) then follow up with the real reason you’re there: the pitch. It’s obvious, and the pitch ruins the connection before it. You’re much more likely to get a commission from me by talking to me normally and making a genuine connection. Share your art as a real passion and when I need something you’d be the first to come to mind. Otherwise you’re just making sure I don’t go to you later because I feel targeted. 🤷

Most replies I saw go into personality but your initial question is pretty surface level so I’ll stay there. For me, it’s smoking. I don’t smoke myself so it’s really hard for me to be attracted to someone if I’m constantly breathing in smoke. Plus the smells linger, especially for those who don’t smoke.

Understanding what is within my control to change, and avoiding stressors when I can. I don’t dwell on things, and I play games or jam out to music in my car, and just do things I genuinely enjoy 😊 Lastly, being open minded. Sometimes things that cause stress can be triggered directly or indirectly by me. And I’m not too proud to recognize when I am causing the domino effect of stress 🤷

People who don't drink and smoke, how do you manage stress???

@mikuryne Yeah I feel this too. I’m slowly leaning into more of the idea that when you’re honest, the right people will stay. As hard as it can be, I’d say just be you. If you have to restrict who you are then it’s not really a worthwhile relationship.
