The overreactions will be fun, it’s essentially a 1 year, 11.3M (20M total value factoring in Atlanta) deal for the #Raiders with Cousins
8.7M due 3rd day league year in 2027 with 2 years/80M after that. It’s essentially a deal set for the Raiders to have Kirk for 2026, and only 2026, if he’s tradable after the year then he’s moved to a team with a decent starting contract. If not he’s released with limited dead money as none of the 2/80 is guaranteed.
Atlanta is still paying Cousins in 26/27, his cap hit with LV will be near or exactly at vet minimum. Cousins will make 20M in 2026, but LV is paying 1.3M of that with additional money offset to 2027 and beyond through void years. It’s phenomenal cap space management.
