No other European state is prepared to let US bombing runs on Iran overfly their airspace. Starmer lets them actually load their bombs and take off from UK airfields. He calls it "defensive" bombing.

@SythUK I really can't think of anything Trump can do more to help achieve Russia's longstanding strategic goals. Ukraine? USA acts for Russia's interest. NATO? Effectively nonexistent right now. Economy? Trump's War saved Russia. USA domestically? Distrust & chaos. Putin must love it.

When Europe panicked over the invasion of Ukraine, the US contributed $188 Billion, plus $66.9 Billion in hardware and military aid. That doesn't include intelligence and other support. When the US asked Europe if they wished to assist in the war in Iran, Europe said, "Not our illegal war." Ukraine wasn't ours either, but we at least showed up. I believe that the nations of the Middle East will remember who was there to protect them. Certainly, the US will remember who our friends truly are.
