@k_lauper Especially the "no improvement" is rather shocking.

What we found: Women = 40% of all authors Only 37% of first authors and 26% of last authors are women No improvement over time

While doing a systematic review of head-to-head trials in rheumatoid arthritis, I had the impression that most first and last authors were men. I complained (loudly) in the office. My colleague Denis Mongin said: “We can actually check that.” And so we did. 👇

We've spent 2 inspiring days in Madrid during the @eular_org Communities Meeting. Discussing our strategy for @EMEUNET, and exploring further collaborations with @eularHPR, @eularPAED and @eularYoungPARE. Looking forward to the follow-up of all interesting discussions!

In our latest publication we compared old fashioned manual abstract screening vs. #AI assisted screening. Although the AI program seems promising, we are not there yet for the complex questions we answer in #rheumatology SLRs.
