@Jordo42 @jasrifootball He gets banged up after almost every catch and sits out for some plays then comes back

@jasrifootball I’m really asking dolphins fans. Where does the “availability concerns” come from? I didn’t watch the Dolphins but I looked it up and he only missed like 5 games or something. Am I missing something?

𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: An anonymous NFL executive on the Broncos' trade for Jaylen Waddle:
“Take your shot, but you'd better know some of the flaws. Availability is a concern, and he doesn't exactly exude toughness. Maybe your culture changes that. He opens things up and he's in his prime.”

@MeinerzMuse That's because he can throw with anticipation. He doesn't need zip

@RespectMyCos @LABoltzfan He gets hurt after every catch. Dolphins fans know that.

@uzumonkeyy @EliteMarino Cowboys a year and a half ago. Huge prime time game to clinch a playoff berth.

Since I didn’t do an observations thread the day after Miami’s 33-27 loss to New England, here are my thoughts after watching the All-22:
• McDaniel needs to be gone Friday morning if the Dolphins lose Thursday. The areas he’s needed to grow in as a coach (time management, play calling, etc.) have not improved and he continues to be detrimental to the teams success in key moments. Delay of games in critical situations because you can’t get the play in going in year 4 is unacceptable. Never mind the fact you can’t get pre snap and procedural penalties cleaned up too in those same big moments.
• Tua really settled in and was solid after having the first INT called back up until the final two drives. That Illegal motion penalty in Malik Washington when he picked up the 1st down hurt and they were in a position to get 6. Tua looked strong challenging the Patriots defense outside of the numbers when they took the MOTF away. Really wish he could have stayed locked in to finish the game off but poor protection, poor communication and bad penalties doomed this offense. Should he have hit Julian Hill instead of making the throw that led to the TD? Well, he didn’t even look that way when Hill leaked out, whether that’s because he doesn’t trust him or he wasn’t part of the progressions doesn’t matter, if it was Jonnu, I bet he has a feel for it and trusts him, so he may have looked that way, we’ll never know. That miss to Tyreek on the second last drive is a throw is one he definitely wants back because Reek probably houses it due to defender falling.
• The offensive line wasn’t great. Jonah was rough, Brewer had some miscues, Kion Smith isn’t a starter caliber player in this league and either is Borom, those sacks given up late in the game were back breakers. I thought even Paul, who was the best out of all of them, had some reps he’d like to take back. Just not good enough overall from the unit.
• Waddle and Tyreek had strong games. Love seeing the emotion from Waddle this week as he was clearly irritated with Brewer’s false start and that grew to anger and frustration with the substitution issues and delay of game on the next play.
• At least the TEs didn’t negatively impact the Miami Dolphins this weekend
• Achane is the best player on offense right now. His effort is unmatched. Wish he kept his foot in. OG31’s blocking effort on the Malik Washington end around was very impressive.
• Weaver has some issues on his hands with the defense. He was getting baited pretty hard into sending pressure and beat on screens.
• Grant had a nice ball batted down and some run stops but was having a problem eating the doubles
• Another game and surprisingly, Zach Sieler once again made no impact
• I also continue to expect more out of the EDGE group - Chop getting a sack and Chubb getting one too is nice but Phillips is getting worked when he drops into coverage and Judon has been damn near non existent.
• I thought Dodson wasn’t good and Brooks hasn’t looked as good as he did last year in Weaver’s defense, though the effort in his sack was great.
• Not impressed at all with Jack Jones
• Rough rep for Jason Marshall Jr. on that first Patriots TD
• Not a great outing for Dante Trader Jr., whiffed on a few tackles
• Melifonwu hasn’t been particularly good through his first two games in Miami
• Last week there was a backbreaking penalty on special teams with a roughing the kicker by Judon and this week after Malik scored the first punt return for the Dolphins since 2020, allowing a kickoff return for a TD on the next play is unacceptable.
Last week, Miami lost its first season opener under McDaniel and this week, they lost their first game to New England with Tua as the starting QB.
I don’t expect this team to beat Buffalo. Historically even when Tua has a good game against them, the other phases let us down. All I know is that if they lose again, we better wake up Friday morning to heads rolling in Miami. #PhinsUp

@finsup3345 @EliteMarino I think he might be, head banged on the ground on a sack in the first half, who knows?
English

@TardWrangIer @soflodesantis @nickysmokess Shouldn’t have a qb throwing to spots, hit me in the fucking chest. Weak ass arm
English

@soflodesantis @nickysmokess Tyreek didn't run the route correctly & put himself out of position. Lack of athletic ability? He was evading instant pressure well & couldn't do it all there lmfao. Blindside instant pressure in his fault somehow
You're mindless

@NealDriscoll Your getting close to saying Tua sucks too . I can feel it
