Next shoutout is for @bunnysransom and @VeeLolMerch for everything she accomplished with the meet n greet merch and standees. All at her first ever con too. Absolutely inspiring work. Was honored to be able to help out and every single standee was sold so no vtubers got a viking funeral this weekend. I am so fucking proud of you. Any time you need a hand running another booth just say the word and I’m there. Getting to FINALLY meet Bunny in person was honestly my favorite part of the whole weekend. We have been friends for so long and I have missed getting to hang out on stream together so much over the past year or so. You mean the absolute world to me and I promise we will hang out again ASAP. Love you 💖

First and foremost the biggest shoutout goes out to @aPlotTwistVT and @The_QuacKwak for putting the Vtuber Plaza together in such a short time with limited resources. They absolutely killed it and everyone had an incredible time. I can’t ever properly explain how much Plot and her community means to me but I’ll try. Plot is the day 1 online friend for me. A few years ago I didn’t understand why people watched streamers, I didn’t have a discord account, and I had never even heard of a Vtuber. If you follow me here or know me at all in an online space you have Plot to thank (or curse) for that. She welcomed me in to a space that was completely outside my comfort zone and watching her grow and the community grow with her has been one of the greatest joys in my life. So Feesh thank you for everything 💙

I had one of the best con experiences I could’ve in my first time working one at @MomoCon con this year. I cannot thank @aPlotTwistVT and @The_QuacKwak enough for putting together such an amazing vtuber meet and greet section and getting to work it. Looking forward to next year.

We are not associated with Luminara in any way. Previously, after interviewing our Founder about our Rust servers, Cam attempted to recreate what we do at VSMP. He admitted that he took the idea during a meeting, which was recorded with consent. After realizing he could not provide the experience or safety promised to the talents, we reached out for the sake of the talents involved. In exchange for doing all the backend work, we were promised that we would be fully credited, and allowed to bring some of our talents into the server. We were not credited correctly, and the event is currently still on the website without us being mentioned. We ended up running backend, creating and running all of the events, etc. Luminara staff created the graphics and then never helped again, leaving us to do everything. We had to create completely custom coded plugins and drop everything to create this in less than a week to fulfill the promises he made. The talent spots we were promised was only partially filled. He also refused almost all talents we brought in because they weren't a big enough name for him. Cam would dm our players and ask them to play the game worse or stop playing altogether so other "Bigger name" players would look good. A staff member made racist comments in the in game chat while players were streaming, and after reporting it to them they did nothing. And that's only a couple of examples. And then went on to slander us in his discord with staff members saying horrible things. He has also offered to do similar events to others since, claiming that they created it all. VSMP has, and always will be, about bringing people together to create amazing large server experiences in a safe environment despite their name or size. That guy sucks. 👍

Others who were key in making this work: The Momocon Live Streaming Department who took a shot on me and gave me this opening to begin with. @ZaynAratos and @SWEETKITSU jumped in and helped me organize and keep talent informed. @nine_nahhh , my PA and my goat. She helped me put all the talent graphics together and watch over things. @izumiteeny designed the announcement graphics rushed and they were so gorgeous. Pyconaut & Ssysm with all the AV work. Pyco also with helping the entire area. @EvilGuyNikita for answering all my questions because I've never done any of this before. SuitJoel for MC'ing the panels/stage programing. @VeeLolMerch for stepping up and putting an entire booth together just so they could help provide a way for the in person talents to sell some merch, and having them make 100% of those profits. If I forgot someone, I'm so so sorry. There were so many key players.

I always found it really hard to say “I want to be an idol” But I got to see my performance at PORTALZ this weekend at Momocon from a live feed and then see this clip from the wonderful @aPlotTwistVT 🥺 Seeing the lightsticks and people getting so hyped - It made me want to try and it made me want it badly enough that the anxiety I have towards it disappeared. Even though I’m not very traditional in the sense of idols (erm at all-👁️👄👁️) - I really want to perform and see more lightsticks in the future and have people so excited for performances!! While I still struggle to say that I want to be an idol sometimes - because I AM self-conscious of myself and my own like… perceptions of what that means and how it “fits” me I really do want to be an idol. I do want to be on stage and perform for people with my own style and own way, one day again! 🦋✨ Thank you so much for letting me perform at Momocon and for cheering me on 😭😭😭 It really meant a lot. I’ll keep pushing so that - I can do it again someday!!

This weekend was a dream. In a few weeks I'll be wondering if it even happened... I wanted to find a home at a con in the South East, and reached out with a small idea that snowballed so fast. I wanted a space that all different kinds of Vtubers were welcome. That was diverse and beautiful. With all sizes, genders, races. To show how beautiful the space could be. And I really hope we achieved that this weekend. Thank you @momocon for giving us a space to shine, and being so welcoming. Thank you @UnnamedWotagei and @RoyalBuckss for coming out last minute to perform with us. Every VSinger dreams of being worth wota. You have no idea how much this meant to all of us. Thank you to my mods and community members who gave their entire weekend up and never blinked an eye to run the M&Gs. They spent HOURS making sure everyone had an amazing experience. And they did fantastic. I'm so so proud of all of you. Thank you to all the talents that trusted us, who were so kind to my staff, put together panels and concerts last minute, showed up and made con go-ers excited and happy. And thank you to @The_QuacKwak for doing it all with me. We had an impossible task, and we FUCKING DID IT! Otsu, Momocon. See you next year? 🤞
