@christianp Don’t know if someone has already done it but we started on such a project awhile back using the 7 Huzita-Hatori axioms rather than Euclid’s 5 postulates. A lot of fun but slow especially since it is a side project.

I just signed up for a slot (9:30pm, Seattle time) to do a magic trick. I'm sure the whole festival will be great. There's a long overlap between math and magic, going back at least as far as Martin Gardner. But I'm particularly excited, because... I've got a new trick.

Although I have found that here in America letting people know that you are going down to the bar to do some math (or even just talking about math) is a very effective social distancing tool, we shall further distance by not meeting in person this month #mathsjam

One jammer brought this book. Egyptian fractions aren’t the mystery we thought and Egyptian multiplication algorithms bear a strange resemblance to the “Russian Pesant Algorithm” both of which are related to Napier’s location arithmetic (join us next month for that). #mathsjam

Manifold puzzle

Crowed tonight at the Swiss. We have a small table in the middle of front room. Come join us and explore tetration (had to look that one up and now have gone down a www rabbit hole).

Don't know how good of a game it is but how can you pass up a game were the dice have formal logic symbols? What's the probability that you roll a complete proof?
