Campus history is written in the details. 🧱✍️ Look closely 👀 Fermier Hall stands out as one of the last buildings on the @TAMU campus designed in the Romanesque architectural style, originally topped with twin Roman steeples. Now home to #TAMUetid, the century-old building connects the next generation of industry leaders and problem-solvers with a piece of Aggieland history. #ETID #ENGRBuildings #TAMUengr

Research has always been part of its blueprint. 🪜🔬 Long before it became home to @tamuecen, the Wisenbaker Engineering Building was constructed as the Engineering Research Center; a space dedicated to discovery. Today, the building continues that legacy as a hub for electrical and computer engineering, where students and researchers are advancing the technologies that power our everyday lives 🧑‍🔧 #ECEN #ENGRBuildings #TAMUengr

Ever wondered what it’s like to run a nuclear power plant? ⚛️ In April, Texas A&M nuclear engineering students learned just that when they visited the Reactor Simulator Lab and stepped into the roles of reactor operators. 👷 This experience made them part of the small percentage of undergraduate students across the nation who get a similar opportunity incorporated into their coursework. 🔗 tx.ag/NuclearPlantLab

What if sensors didn’t just capture data, but actually understood it? 🤔 Texas A&M Engineering researchers are developing smarter optical sensors that can analyze and compress their own data in real time. This approach could reduce energy use, eliminate the need for cloud computing and speed up decision-making across industries. From helping surgeons detect tumors instantly to enabling astronauts to analyze materials in space, in-sensor intelligence could reshape the future of technology. 🔗 tx.ag/SmartSensors
