Somewhere along the way as a fan base we got caught up in thinking we should expect 10-11 wins every year. Yes, not making a ACC championship has been tough but by the standards of the football program’s history..he’s lifted us up. Ceiling for basketball at State is much higher

“Backbreaking” is dramatic IMO.
Again… he won 19 games, finished 7th in the ACC, lost in First Four. That doesn’t really stand out. He’s never made a deep tourney run anywhere.
It’s not ideal, but in NIL/portal era, is it backbreaking? I don’t think so.
