FA cup game should be full rotation. If we go out, we go out. I don’t want to see any of GM, WS, JT, Cala, Rice, Zubi, Ø, Saka, VG or Kai given any minutes. Play MLS middle we might need him there in the run-in. Play Max Norgaard Jesus Hincapie Kepa Noni Martinelli Trossard and youngsters. In the CL we have to be brave and limit minutes especially for Rice, Zubi, Kai, Saka and Ø until he’s match fit. Use Dowman, MLS and Norgaard more from the bench. Bournemouth full strength 90 min unless game is comfortably won. Gyokeres can play full 90 min in CL and Kai start PL with Ø in middle. Might have to be creative in middle 1st leg in order to limit Ø max 60 min. If all goes well, a win against City will virtually make the remaining PL games rotation-able to focus on FA Cup and CL (if we qualify) We have a saying where I come from that goes: “He who wants it all, loses it all” Prioritize the league. The benefit is if you do and that translates to a comfortable enough lead and you manage to qualify for the cups still, then that problem just solved itself.

No CAMs will make things quite difficult for us. Merino, Eze and Odegaard out is huge blow. Arteta needs to think our system for the next month, which should have some elements of our 433 and a 424 without Havertz-Gyokeres as the 2 CF/SS.

All you gain from watching football in the entertainment value. You don't get anything if Arsenal win a title. The joy of the game is the only real point.

Ok I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Do you think winning the league and/or CL to be a positive and potentially a catalyst to achieving what you desire in the following seasons? Could it be that the strength and physicality of the league the main cause of the style of football being played? Didn’t Arsenal play beautifully under Arteta especially in the 22/23 and 23/24 seasons? Why isn’t any team playing the style you want in the PL? Didn’t we play beautifully against AM, Spurs, Byern, Inter and most of our CL games? Why do you think that is?

I said this during the bleak Wenger years and I believe it still. Football is supposed to be entertaining. What we're doing this season is not.

I watched the beautiful football followed by the standard hammering in big games in the late Wenger and Unai eras. I wish we never go back. You want 98-04 Arsenal? Sure, who wouldn’t?! But winning major trophies (league specifically) with less “beautiful” football is miles better than anything in the last 22 years. Mind you, we might not be playing beautiful, but make no mistake, we are playing great football even if less pretty. Frankly any supposed fan who doesn’t recognize this is a casual at best. I suspect the likes of you have the capacity to actually switch allegiances and support other teams. And if so, good riddance. Finally, I will celebrate this league God willing like I have never celebrated before. I will be over the moon more so the invincible season even if we “park the bus” for the remainder of the season and only win 1-0s from scrappy corners.

He was impressed with how much Gyok and Eze wanted to come. I think he wanted Noni. Probably did not expect to play Gyok as much as Kai was looking strong and ready at the beginning of the season. I think EZE at this stage has proven his worth; Gyok turned out worse than expected and showed little improvement in the tasks required.

Everyone knows Arteta yields all power at Arsenal If he really didn’t want Gyökeres & Madueke, he could’ve just said no or sought out different options
