Trinity Bible Chapel

Trinity Bible Chapel is a church that meets in Waterloo, Ontario and seeks to reach the entire Waterloo Region with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Yesterday the Queen (Mary) and I enjoyed a leisurely 5-hour drive from home to Waterloo, Ontario. Riding through a small village in the midst of the beautiful Ontario countryside, we came across the intersection of “Queen” and “Mary”—so I couldn’t resist taking a picture (photo 1)! We arrived early at the beautiful Trinity Bible Chapel (a church that has grown since 2017 from 50 to 1,000 attendees under the preaching of Pastor Jacob Reaume) and the equally beautiful King Alfred Academy (photo 2, a K-12 classical school which the church began in 2020 under the leadership of the associate pastor, Randy Frey, and now has 120 students), where I was to deliver an address for this school’s annual fundraising dinner event. The delicious prime rib dinner was attended by close to 200, of which about 80% attend the church (photo 3). My address was on “Raising Children to Imitate Christ’s Threefold Office” (photo 4). We also enjoyed hearing the 50-student choir sing two beautiful selections that underscored Christ’s full salvation (photo 5). Pastor Reaume showed me his immaculate, well-stocked library that is on site (photo 6) and Pastor Frey gave us a tour of the impressive school building (photo 7). Since Reformed Book Services had a nice selection of titles published by Reformation Heritage Books and other publishers, I was given liberty to recommend several books from the podium, and was grateful to see the brisk business RBS was doing afterward (photo 8). We arrived at the home of John and Miekie Beeke (my brother and sister-in-law) in Fonthill, Ontario before midnight.
