The two TBHS Jazz Bands traveled to Kansas City for the 18th and Vine Jazz Festival. While at the festival the kids performed in the historic Gem theater and toured the American Jazz Museum. We also couldn’t go to KC without getting some BBQ.
The TBHS Band is doing a summer concert band again this June. This is open to all of our high school band students as well as any alumni or community friends. If you are interested in playing please complete the google form at the link below:

Thursday night at 7:00 PM the Troy R3 Jazz Bands will be giving a concert. This concert will feature both the TBHS Jazz Bands along with the TMS/TSMS Jazz Band. We would love to see you there.
If you weren't able to make it to our concert last night you have more chances next week. The Symphonic Band, TMS and TSMS 8th Grade Bands will be performing Tuesday, March 11th at 7:00 PM. There will also be a special appearance by our very own TBHS Chamber Choir.

Today the TBHS Band traveled to the MSHSAA District Music Festival. We are proud of all of our students for their hard work. We had 32 band entries that attended today with 17 entries receiving Exemplary Ratings and state eligibility and 15 entries receiving Outstanding Ratings.
The CMU Band will be on tour next week and are giving two concerts in Troy. They will be performing March 5th at 7 PM at the St. Stephens Methodist Church (this concert is open to the public) and on March 6th they will be playing at TBHS for all of our band students.
Today was the NEMMEA District Jazz concert at Mizzou. Parker played trumpet, and Hayden and Hazen played trombone. Additionally, TBHS alum and trombone player Antonio Flores performed tonight with the Mizzou Jazz Band. We are proud of all of them for an outstanding performance.
The Mizzou Concert Jazz Band performed today at the Missouri Music Educators Association convention. TBHS alum Antonio Flores is a member of the trombone section. We are proud of you Antonio.
