@devincf I got about 20% into this one. Interesting history and I really enjoyed the comparisons he made. But eventually I felt like I got the answer in the first 100 pages and didn’t need/want the expanded explanation. Thanks for the recommendation!

My son got into Pokémon, and is playing the game, not just collecting cool cards. I hit marketplace and thought there would be tons of people just trying to unload their kids’ abandoned cards, but it’s all $1 cards listed by name. Like, IDK any of these cards, I just want a box!

@carlsmithwriter Also, those gestures, the talk, the arrogance, that’s all part of basketball. I loved seeing both of them engaging at that level of competitive play. When the game is over you can be kind and have empathy.

As an Iowan, I was sad to see our ladies lose the championship. They have nothing to feel embarrassed about, they are amazing. But the discussion of Reese does bug me. It's based in racist double standards. Pure and simple. Go Iowa. Congrats LSU. What an amazing year.

@AEStueve Isn’t exec producer more of a courtesy nod? Or an invite based on their involvement in the development of it. I’ve often seen adaptations list the original creator as exec prod. (I’m genuinely asking)
