@WMHeditor You would have enjoyed the automated Zoom captions on the Association of Asian Studies virtual meetings sessions - they were completely adrift with all the non-English words. Shalom balls is an especially fun one though!

watching a pbs show about chinese food in nyc, and i am deeply amused by the closed captioning, which renders xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) as "shalom balls" 😂

@love194ever @tvkatesnow Hi LMartin, people farm, raise livestock, and nowadays are involved in the tourism economy as well. Kids spend time with their dad's family occasionally, not all that much, though in some families the kids enjoy being in their dad's household and spend a lot of time there.
