Thank god. Although it will be a shame to lose the 222s from the local area - I don’t get the hate, they’re such nice units and are really good at what they do and will be perfect for the routes they’ll operate in Scotland too.

@LudwigTails But on the plus side, there will be a galley with a full kitchen that directly links into first class so there may be slightly less room (but remember the percentage of first class fare paying passengers compared to those paying standard class) but the offering can be improved.

@TC60054 The first class section looks a bit small ngl… it beats out the 4 car MK3 sets but it’s terrible when compared to a 5 car MK3 set
