8 million 800 thousand who used our mainline and regional trains, and 12 million 150 thousand who traveled on High-Speed Trains (YHT)—as well as to the industrial partners and customers who entrusted us with the transport of over 25 million tons of freight.

🚄 In 2025, we embarked on unforgettable journeys together with our valued passengers. As the railway family, we are already looking forward with excitement to setting out on new adventures together in the coming year, and we extend our best wishes for 2026.

We are in London to attend the 34th Session of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly. As part of our official engagements, we held meetings with: ⚓️ IMO Secretary-General Mr. Arsenio Dominguez, 🇳🇱 Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management of the Netherlands, Mr. Robert Tieman, and 🇬🇪 Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Ms. Mariam Kvrivishvili. Following our consultations, we addressed distinguished delegates at the IMO Assembly. Ensuring safe and sustainable seas is always possible through our shared commitment and collective efforts.

By adapting to current strategic needs, we strengthen our position at the centre of Middle Corridor not only transporting freight but carrying data and energy and supporting regional development.

With our experience gained over years, we continue to seamlessly meet freight transportation demands both along Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Line and Middle Corridor and South Corridor extending through Iran.

3rd Joint Working Group Meeting of the Railways of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Türkiye was hosted by our General Directorate in İstanbul.

As Türkiye’s leading railway undertaking, we place great importance on international cooperation and continue to contribute to our sector by establishing new connections within the global railway network. #TürkiyeHızlanıyor 🇹🇷

During the meeting, technical and administrative cooperation opportunities were discussed regarding the Bulgarian railway undertaking’s request to lease passenger coaches from our Company and the possibility to receive maintenance services for passenger coaches in Türkiye.

An online meeting was held between the delegation of Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ EAD Holding) led by H.E. Mr. Lyuben Nanov, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Bulgaria, and our delegation led by Director General Mr. @uyalcin_,

with the participation of the heads of our relevant departments.

As part of our business trip to China, we reached an agreement with China Railway on enhancing the potential of the Baku–Tbilisi–Kars railway line. In the Memorandum of Understanding we signed, we declared our commitment to active cooperation in the development of international transport corridors, including the BTK route, as well as freight transportation operations. Now, we have new opportunities to accelerate access for Chinese production centers to European markets via Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye, as well as enhance Baku–Beijing relations and contribute to uninterrupted connectivity across Eurasia.
