#SundayWiMIN23 Week 41: Rachel Madden Fourth year medical student @tcddublin. Awarded @hrbireland Summer Student Scholarship in 2023 to carry out research into markers of blood pressure instability and their association with falls, faints and dizziness amongst older people using data from the Falls and Syncope Unit @stjamesdublin. Received the @irishgerontsoc's President’s Award for her oral presentation at their annual conference - a huge honour for a medical student to receive. One half of the creative team behind @TCDteddy's annual Teddy Bear Hospital - an initiative which aims to make hospital BEARable for young children, by exposing them to the equipment used in healthcare settings in a fun and non-threatening way. Honoured to welcome our Provost @LindaDoyle to our Teddy Bear Hospital yesterday. I was so privileged to be one of the co-ordinators of this year’s TBH. We graduated nearly 500 new Teddy Doctors with the help of our amazing team of 150 volunteers, all in aid of @BUMBLEance_IRL 🧸
