Old Topanga Canyon Road Closure Update The closure of Old Topanga Canyon Road has been resolved. The road has been removed from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works Road Closure website, and Old Topanga Canyon Road has officially returned to its normal open status.

Despite LA Co DPW listing Old Topanga Canyon closed, TCEP has confirmed it is has not been. DPW advises any pole related closure would have originated from SCE & SCE would need to remove it. We are seeking prompt clarification to resolve the confusion. TCEP.org/EmergencyStatus

12-Hour overnight closure of Topanga Canyon Blvd between PCH & Grand View Dr starting Sat Feb 21, 10 PM to Sun Feb 22, 10 AM. Caltrans crews will complete pavement restoration work in the one-lane traffic control section.

🚗SR-27 IS OPEN🚗 Topanga Canyon Blvd./SR-27 from PCH to Grand View Drive will remain open, weather permitting, after crews determined the roadway was safe for motorists. They will conduct frequent patrols throughout the day in case mudslides or other unsafe conditions arise.

EVACUATION WARNINGS LIFTED For those living in the Palisades and Franklin Fire Burn Scar areas, in LA County only at this time, the Evacuation Warnings, have now been lifted.

TCB will remain closed until at least Wed. morning, from PCH to Grand View Dr., given current impacts & a flood watch in effect through 6 a.m. Wednesday. Crews will reassess Wed. morning based on road conditions & weather forecasts. Plan alternate routes for Wednesday’s commute.

Caltrans crews will close TCB from PCH and Grand View Drive at 10 p.m. Sun. 2/15, in anticipation of rainstorms . Caltrans crews will reopen the TCB as soon as it is safe to do so. Motorists should expect the route to remain closed at least through the Tuesday morning commute.

Caltrans will close a 3.6-mile stretch of TCB between PCN & Grand View Drive Tue. 2/10 @ 9P in anticipation of rainstorms and possibility of mud & debris flows. Given the forecast, crews are expecting to reopen Wednesday unless the rainstorms bring significant impacts.
