Earlier today, the Premier, Honourable Charles W. Misick, engaged with UK partners and members of the investment community in an important evening of dialogue, reaffirming the TCI position as a stable, well-regulated, and forward-looking jurisdiction for responsible investment.

Yesterday, 5th May 2026, the Premier Honourable Charles Washington Misick met with the UK Minister for the Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty, to engage in constructive discussions on a range of national priorities. Further updates will be shared in due course.

Major infrastructure investments include $30 million for South Dock expansion, $22 million for a fuel system upgrade, and phased airport redevelopment.

Housing and community development receive $24.2 million, with a focus on affordability, land reform, and serviced communities.

Social protection receives $30.6 million to support pensions, vulnerable groups, and social assistance programmes.

Education is allocated $65.9 million, including free community college, expanded scholarships, and improved school infrastructure.

Economic affairs receive $84.9 million to support infrastructure, financial inclusion, renewable energy, and business development.

Healthcare is allocated $99.3 million, with reforms aimed at improving local care and reducing costly overseas treatment.

General public services receive $99.7 million to support government operations, modernization, and improved service delivery.

The largest budget allocation, $106.2 million, is dedicated to public order and safety, reinforcing national security and stability.

The Government is delivering a balanced budget, with projected revenue of $551.1 million and expenditure of $550.8 million.

This year also marks 50 years of Ministerial Government, with the Premier highlighting the country’s transformation into a leading global tourism destination.
