🏠NCP patients were more likely to live in rural communities (0–5000 people). 🫀NCP presence was an independent risk factor for future adverse CVEs within 2 years (death, MI, CVA). 📝A comprehensive approach to CV risk assessment is needed in rural and high CV regions.

Great work @EHendricks_MD! Patients with NCP in Appalachia are more likely to live in rural communities <5k population, have higher LDL-C, HTN, DM, and older age. Important for risk stratifying our WV population. #YesCT @ACCinTouch @ImWvu
