Thank you to the townspeople of Bo’ness and the Bo’ness Children’s Fair Festival Committee who have all worked so hard to make Bo’ness Fair day such a wonderful day yesterday. It was also a very special Fair day for our family this year, as Emily Cuthell was a Flower Girl.

Despite the unpredictable weather, we enjoyed our first bowling competition of the season yesterday at Grangemouth Bowling Club We want to thank you for your kindness to us and well done to everyone who took park.

Today, on VE Day the Union flag flies over our Falkirk Funeral Home as we remember the ultimate price paid by so many to secure the freedom that we have today. We give thanks that the many who died, did not do so without people recognising their sacrifice.

Today we celebrate our Funeral Administrator, Sharon Gentleman. Sharon has been looking after our bereaved families across Forth Valley for 25 years. We would like to thank her for all that she continues to do, to ensure that our families are supported in the best possible way.

Due to the red weather warning in place, and to ensure the safety of our team, our offices will be closed tomorrow (Friday 24th January 2025). Please note, any funeral services scheduled to take place on Friday 24th January have been rescheduled.

Happy New Year to all of our followers. Wishing you a happy and healthy 2025. Our Funeral homes remain closed today, however our colleagues David, Mark and David will be supporting those that require immediate assistance.

Wishing all our followers a happy and peaceful Christmas. Our offices are now closed until Friday 27th December, our colleagues Alistair and colin will be available for those that require immediate attention over the festive period.

Last night our team joined together for our Christmas night out. Thank you Cafe Corvina for being fantastic hosts again this year and to our team for all they do to support bereaved families across our community throughout the year.

Today, on Remembrance Sunday, we give thanks and reflect on the sacrifice made by so many to ensure that we have the freedom that we do today- something that we should never take for granted. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.

On Saturday evening we were delighted to once again sponsor @Kinneilband in their annual concert. Our congratulations to all and in particular the youth band who will undoubtedly ensure that the future of the band continues for many generations to come.

A busy few days for our colleagues Paul and John as they conducted the funeral of a friend from Achmelvich. it’s not every day that our team can say they have seen the northern lights as they go to bed or the Isle of Lewis as they made their way to a cemetery!

Today, let’s take a moment to celebrate all the wonderful ladies we call Mum and to remember those Mum’s that are no longer with us. 💗 Happy Mother’s Day to you all........

Last night our team joined together for our Christmas get together. Thank you Cafe Corvina for being fantastic hosts and to all our team for being part of the Thomas Cuthell & Sons Family.

100 years ago the stained glass windows in Dundas Church (now Dundas Funeral Home) were dedicated in memory of the 13 men of that congregation who paid the ultimate sacrifice. “At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.”

On Friday evening we were delighted to support @Kinneilband at their annual concert. Well done to all involved, including the youth band, it was a wonderful evening.

Not sure how they managed 130years ago when our Dundas Funeral Home was built, but this week the cherry picker has certainly helped, as we get the exterior of the building re-painted. A beautiful day to admire the view over Grangemouth also.
