History Club will be on every Tuesday in room 304 3.00pm-3.45pm. We will be researching the coal mining heritage of the Rhondda, with a view to interview ex-miners to document life and work in our area. Please join and/or let us know if you know any ex-miners for interviews!

We are planning to take Year 7 and Year 8 to Cardiff Castle on 21st July 2022. Please can you see Mr J Williams in 303 for a form. The form need to be completed and handed back to Mr Williams by Friday 1st July please.

#OTD 1879 Battle of Rorke's Drift: British garrison of 150 holds off 3,000-4,000 Zulu warriors. Eleven Victoria Crosses and a number of other decorations were awarded to the defenders. The 1964 film 'Zulu' portrays the battle. Well worth a watch.
