The most disappointing parts of this case: 1. There was totally no evidence against him other than people claiming they saw him. 2. In the police lineup the police made him wear a red shirt since it was the key detail witnesses remembered about the perpetrator. 3. The key witness failed to identify him, but six years later claimed to identify him after sharing a cell with Mr. Henry. 4. The real killer remains at large.

In 2004, 89-year-old Durelli Watts and her 67-year-old daughter Ina Gex were murdered in New Orleans. Darrill Henry was convicted in 2011 of their murders and sentenced to life in prison after fake testimonies from eye witnesses. However in 2023, almost 16 years after his arrest before prosecution, DNA testing excluded Henry as the source of biological material found under one victim's fingernails. Prosecutors dropped all charges.

One of the sick and twisted cases ever

In February 2023, Hong Kong model and influencer Abby Choi, 28, was reported missing. On February 24, police discovered her dismembered remains at a village house in Tai Po. Some body parts were found inside a refrigerator, while others had been cooked in large soup pots. Investigators recovered her skull and several ribs from one of the soup pots, along with a meat slicer and an electric saw at the scene. Her ex-husband Alex Kwong, his brother Anthony Kwong, and their father Kwong Kau were charged with murder. Kwong's mother was charged with perverting the course of justice. The believed motive was a financial dispute over properties worth millions as she was their breadwinner. The murder trial is scheduled to begin on September 21, 2026, at the Hong Kong High Court.

In 2011, a Florida teen, Tyler Hadley, 17, was charged with bludg*oning his parents to d*ath with a hammer, when they said no to hosting a party. He hid their bodies in their bedroom before going ahead and hosting the 60-guest party in the same house. He was sentenced to two consecutive life terms without parole.
