I hate politics. I hate how it envelops every aspect of our lives now. My golf foursome is Me (no political affiliation), a staunch lib, a pro Trump conservative and a RINO. We get along just fine. Wanna know why? All of us treat each other and other people with respect no matter what leans they have. This is more important than whatever your politics are. You can disagree with someone and still be respectful. I don’t know why people stopped thinking like this.

In 25 years no one is going to remember a phone call. No one is going to remember what an opinion writer at The Athletic wrote. No one is going to remember a morning show segment . No one is going to remember a state of the union address. No one is going to remember what any Canadian journalist wrote. But this photograph will still be there. And that's all this is about.

If you can look at these two photos and only celebrate one of them, politics has broken your brain.
