Exclusive games close studios. Selling games (multiplat) keeps studios open. Xbox has NOT been launching exclusives since 2016... We need to stop pretending that STEAM is NOT a separate Platform. gg!
BryanIKE@BryanBstra

Xbox will suffer greater losses if it's released on other platforms. Consequently, the community would shrink significantly and migrate to other platforms. Xbox desperately needs exclusive games and deals like PlayStation, otherwise it's more susceptible to advertising.

@_Jorge_Lo @hyxkkimxru Cyberpunk on PS5 alone is already significantly better. Anyone claiming there's no significant upgrade is a casual broke bum.

@hyxkkimxru That's the catch you're falling for: you're responding as if he had stated that there was no update, when he actually wrote that the update wasn't significant and it's clear he's focusing on the technical aspects of the games.

Keir Starmer claims Nigel Farage is to blame for the boat people because Brexit took us out of the Dublin Convention (in 2020), which allowed us to return asylum seekers to the EU countries from whence they came. The PM is either ignorant of the facts — or knowingly lying. Neither is a good look. The Dublin Convention was a two-way street for asylum seekers. Yes, we could try to return them. But others could also be returned to us. As a result the Dublin Agreement actually made us a net recipient of asylum seekers. Take 2018. We made 5,500 requests for asylum seekers to be returned. Only 209 transfers were agreed. In the same year, under the same convention we accepted 1,215 asylum seekers. So we were net recipients by over 1,000. The Dublin Convention did nothing to make it easier to return asylum seekers. Nearly all politicians are cavalier with the truth when it suits them. But Starmer is taking this to a new level.

In 7 years of PlayStation 3 we got (new, non-spinoff): 4 Ratchet & Clank 3 Uncharted 3 Resistance 3 MotorStorm 2 Little Big Planet 2 God of War 2 Killzone 2 InFamous …and that’s just first-party games. Nowadays we’ll be lucky to get one “AAA” sequel in a generation. 😐

@Spectre799games This is demonstrably false. The PS4 Pro made barely any difference to visuals or framerates. There are multiple games that are clearly superior on the PS5 Pro compared to PS5. RE9 is a clear example.

The PS5 Pro was a weaker jump from the PS5 than the PS4 Pro was for the PS4. But fanboys will gaslight you to think otherwise. The Pro is a 900$ scam

Xbox News for Koreans 🇰🇷 - 네이버 Xbox 정보 카페
The PC version of Overwatch service will be transferred to Nexon in Korea. Overwatch has historically been a very successful game in Korea, but to achieve even greater success, it has decided to collaborate with Nexon, one of Korea’s major publishers. Just my take: Going forward, it would be beneficial for the Xbox business itself to adopt this kind of partnership model with large local game companies. This approach could be particularly effective in regions where Xbox has a weaker presence, such as Korea, Japan, and China. That’s also why many gamers once got excited about the photo of SEGA Xbox.

@Matty_Cs_World @K__Med The Series S is just a shit console. Being cheap doesn't make it great value. The SSD is far too small for modern games.

👀Sony raised prices and Xbox quietly became the better deal Sony just raised PS5 prices in select regions, and it instantly makes Xbox look like the better deal, even though Microsoft already bumped its own prices back in September. The difference is timing. Xbox held steady this round while PlayStation got more expensive, and that shift lands hard in markets where gamers are already frustrated with rising hardware costs. Sometimes the win is not about being cheaper forever, it is about not being the one raising prices today. Full story at Windows Central🔗👇 windowscentral.com/gaming/xbox/xb…

PlayStation is reportedly shutting down Dark Outlaw Games. The studio was founded 1 year ago under COD Zombies veteran Jason Blundell. This is now the second studio under him that PlayStation has shut down after Deviation Games.

@realradec Firewalk were responsible for Concord, one of the biggest flops in history. Neon Koi were a mobile game dev. Dark Outlaw released nothing and it's founder fumbled his previous studio too. Bluepoint couldn't make Bloodborne Remake because of From Software.

Sony PlayStation closing Japan studio and Bluepoint Games hurts the most among these Especially Bluepoint Game because if they were left alone, they'd still be releasing games right now
