@RingashGame Having a more advantageous way isn’t wrong like how DMC3 had elemental advantages where certain weapons did more damage against certain enemies, but that’s just “better” rather than “correct”

@RingashGame I’m not a fan when an action game clearly has a right and wrong approach in a scenario, for example DmC had those Colour coded enemies which basically determined what you were and weren’t allowed to do when fighting them

What ruins a great action game for you? As an action game developer, I'm genuinely curious. I know everyone has different tastes. No game can please everyone. Maybe that's exactly why I want to hear your answers. I've definitely made design decisions that sounded okay in theory… and felt very different in practice. What's your red flag? I'd love to hear it.

@psergiomr Oh so is it like each enemy has a percentage chance that they might defend themselves and when they sense an incoming attack you calculate whether or not they are able to ( asking because that’s how mine works but I’m trying to improve it 😁)

@TDAF2509 It has a defense stat that determines if it defends or not. No, only shields can block ranged. They evade instead

@OussamaAzzouzi9 Most of it is store bought stuff but the fire teleport, rapid punch, rapid kicks, Aerial down kick and the first two punches I made myself So thanks you for those at least 😂

@OussamaAzzouzi9 Yh I get that summon attacks are independent of your normal attacks I thought the summon weapon attacks were mimicking set B’s normal attacks while you did set A’s normal attacks

@TDAF2509 No normal attack are independent from the summon weapons move set if you are in the 3rd normal ATK combo then you summon you will still continue your normal attack as usual, the summon weapons will start their own 3 combo

@OussamaAzzouzi9 Oh so is it that if I’m doing hit 3 of weapon set A and press the summon button the summon weapon starts doing hit 3 of weapons set B? Also I forgot to say but I really like the vfx and art style. Your dev is coming along really well.

@TDAF2509 If you are using the weapon set A to attack you can summon weapons from the other set which is B as long as you have energy for it
