Excited to host the Doan Ukulele School's UKE FEST yesterday in the Wilkinson gym. There were students from schools across the TDSB! Melanie Doan & the Uke School are amazing community partners. We loved meeting guest Molly Johnson as well! Link to their new video below!

On top of everything she does to make @wilkinsonpsorg run, our amazing OA, Kim, spent the morning teaching us an art lesson! Alcohol ink on ceramic tiles. How does air affect the colour? Our CUPE colleagues are educators, leaders, caregivers. They are our schools! Thank you Kim!

Phonemic awareness @TDSBWilkinson uses various approaches to meet learner needs. For letter sound blending, we may move our bodies, do cumulative blending activities, engage manipulatives, or try a combination of these strategies to support reading development! #scienceofreading
