Hezbollah just sent a crystal-clear message.
Their military media released a video packed with a compilation of archival footage from the 1982–2000 occupation era: Israeli tanks hit by ambushes, soldiers under fire, helicopters evacuating casualties, explosions, chaos, the exact guerrilla warfare that turned southern Lebanon into a nightmare for the IDF & eventually forced their humiliating withdrawal in 2000.
The headline, in both Arabic & Hebrew, is direct:
“The nightmare is returning… it has already returned.”
This is not empty rhetoric. It’s a deliberate warning to Israeli troops still inside Lebanon & to the settlers in the north: the resistance will revert to the model of low-intensity, high-effectiveness guerrilla warfare, hit-&-run ambushes, IEDs, attrition warfare, that bled Israel dry for 18 years. No need for big set-piece battles, just the slow, grinding nightmare that eventually broke Israel’s will last time.
Hezbollah is saying loud & clear: as long as you occupy even one inch of Lebanese soil, the nightmare you thought was over is back in full force.
The resistance never forgot how to make the occupier pay in blood. And they just reminded everyone they still know exactly how to do it.
In short: the resistance just put Israel on notice in the bluntest possible way. The nightmare isn’t a threat. It’s a promise.
