In this task, a Franka arm picks up a kettle from the left side of the table and pours its contents into a mug on the right. It is a long-horizon manipulation task involving grasping, transport, pose control, and pouring. This sample release shows the structure of collected trajectories and compares the raw web-collected data with the smoothed version used for downstream training. ⬇️

More accurate, but also more challenging - @axisrobotics ◾️ After the latest update from Axis Robotics, the shift from Action Replay to State Replay is a significant technical upgrade, but it also means things will become harder in a certain way. Previously, the system only needed to replay actions, so small deviations could sometimes pass without being detected. With State Replay, the system records the full physical state and validates it step by step using the physics engine. This means the data now needs to be much more precise, leaving little room for unstable or random behavior. ➠ This may make tasks more challenging, especially for users who are used to moving quickly or haven’t fully mastered precise control of the robot. However, the trade-off is much higher data quality, better consistency and more reliable inputs for training AI. From a long-term perspective, this is a very positive change. It ensures that every contribution is not just correct, but also trustworthy and reusable across different environments. → A bit harder, but significantly more valuable.
