My recent baggage claim experience with @AmericanAir taught me a lot: 1️⃣ Don’t trust airlines with valuables
2️⃣ Accountability matters
3️⃣ Excuses don’t replace solutions
4️⃣ Offering <20% of the value of missing items isn’t customer care 3+ days without my luggage. Do better.

@AmericanAir I have replied! Resolving a claim should not take 15 days when your company delayed my luggage for 3 days and stole items from it, basically ruining my 7-day trip and forcing me to replace items that cost more than I paid for within the last 2 years! 😡

@Rodrigo96F @AmericanAir Definitely sounds like an intentional act. Awaiting compensation. An @AmericanAir employee went through my luggage, stole over $9,000 worth of items, and delayed it for over 3 days, and I'm still waiting to be compensated.

@AmericanAir Just FYI I contacted a NY Times reporter and will make sure it gets published. The scene is gross and unacceptable. Your team hasn’t reached out, or tried to solve the situation. Also I talked with a lawyer to sue AA because this looks like intentional sabotage

Seems like you need to reevaluate at cameras to the area.@AmericanAir Another customer's bags were delayed, and one bag was tampered with by employees. Who is running your baggage department? Seems like you need to add cameras in the area.

When I asked about my delayed bag, @AmericanAir said it would be on my flight but it wasn’t. Delayed luggage + missing contents = unacceptable. AA must be accountable and transparent. I am not accepting anything with resolve this issue this week.

@AmericanAir mishandled millions of bags over recent years far more than many other U.S. airlines. If they can lose luggage at this scale, they must fix their baggage process & properly compensate passengers.
