I am not the kind of person who normally posts things like this, but I am completely out of options; I went through the proper channels, did the right thing, but @Spotify have made things even more nightmarish for independent artists, and I have no other option but to go public

Last Wednesday at 1am, I got an email from @DistroKid saying that my song From A Dream, is being removed from Spotify due to suspicious activity?? Again, I WAS THE ONE who reported this to them, as the only way to stop playlists like these is to report them.

It’s frustrating 2 b an indie artist. From music removed 4 no reason to Spotify claiming indie artists are botting thus an immediate take down of all their music (even when they didnt), there’s no protections for us. Just 4 band’s on labels. It’s like labels want no competition.

Yeah unfortunately White Light disappeared off of Apple Music for no reason at all - I’ve emailed them and had no response. This is the life of an independent musician unfortunately. Sometimes you just get fucked over out of nowhere and no one cares because you’re not on a label.
