🚨14 days.🚨 That’s how long our Webflow ecommerce site has been broken for PayPal checkout - our #1 payment method - with no resolution. Customers authenticate with PayPal, return to our store… and the cart/order info is gone. They can’t place the order. Sales are tanking. @WebflowSupport @YayLT (CEO of @webflow) - this isn’t a “minor bug.” It’s a critical checkout failure that’s been open for 2 weeks with minimal progress. Every day this continues = more lost revenue and frustrated customers. On the other hand, massive thanks to @PayPal for digging into logs, providing transaction data, and even offering to get on a 3-way call with us and Webflow to help FIX this. That’s what support looks like. This should be a priority. Our e-commerce platform should be working to restore the ability to accept payments immediately, not letting merchants twist in the wind. If your business relies on PayPal in @webflow ecommerce, be aware: this could happen to you, and the impact is severe.

@joshh_FN @ra_quis @jeff_gluck My guy... If you watch the replay showing the front of the cars you can clearly see SVG fading left setting up for the last turn. Connor just turned left faster and hit SVG... This shouldnt be an issue anyway. Nascar needs to make anything outside of curbs out of bounds.

@kkingstyle @TEN23Graphics @iRacing Devil's advocate, do you know what car they scanned? This era of car had so many variations between the brands, and the teams. Not to mention lord knows what car they got to scan and how that car might have changed since then.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed but I'll put this out there anyway. What happened to the B pillar on the Gen 4 Ford Taurus @iRacing !? The rear side windows are clearly too long. How did this make it to final product?

@TEN23Graphics @iRacing I heard on the Forums they are aware of the mistake and plan on fixing it. Trying to find the link to send to you but I believe they are aware of the issue.

@heyserenamunroe @iRacing It was a highly anticipated car in the iRacing community and was in development for quite some time. Its also, essentially a tribute back to iRacings roots so you'd think it'd be as accurate as possible... Furthermore, there are other issues aside from this one.

@TEN23Graphics @iRacing for something that's essentially a video game of a car that's no longer raced, i can't see that. if this was a model used for clients to show press renders of a car i'd make a bigger stink of it. *shrugs* to each their own.

@heyserenamunroe @iRacing They got the B pillar correct on both versions of the Monte Carlo. They also showed the 3D scan of the Taurus when it was first being developed and it was correct on that one as well... And yes, imo, it is a big deal for a laser scanned car that ppl are paying for.

@TEN23Graphics @iRacing I'm willing to bet some compromises were done between this and the SS model, or the car they scanned was different. At the end of the day, is it really that big of a deal?

@kkingstyle @stevenmerzlak Yup, I'm right there with you. If anything, I feel like they should make clearcoat a 0-15% range so you can have mirror finish glossy at 0% or just a normal, slightly diffused glossy at 15%. No need for anything less glossy than that.

@TEN23Graphics @stevenmerzlak Also always thought the clearcoat was a bit weird. Either you have clearcoat on your paint or you don’t. There’s no real “kind of” clearcoat. That’s where the roughness (matte) would come in to play I feel like.

@stevenmerzlak @kkingstyle Yea, you have to have at least 15% black to apply the shiniest clearcoat. Anything lower and it turns the clearcoat off.

@kkingstyle Versus no clearcoat (# ff8000). For some reason a pure zero value doesn't apply clearcoat at all. You have to set that layer to # 121212 for anything to happen.

@JeffMaconi I've gone back and forth between VR and triples. The one thing for me that keeps me using VR over monitors is depth perception. You just can't get that with monitors.

I’ve never understood why there’s only 1-2 pros on iRacing who use VR. I’ve used a single monitor, triples, ultra wides, curved monitors, etc. but being able to sit in a 3D rendered car where you can see just by turning your head blows them all out of the water. Is it just me??
