If reform or the conservatives ditched the ECHR your and my human rights would be not affected , reason ; The UK has it's own human rights act 1998, the only reason some people don't wish to get rid of the ECHR is because in the ECHR there are parts of that act there help illegal immigrants stay in this country , by revoking it they would lose those privileges.

I will try and explain it a different way, the proof needed by law is usually that your have secured a mortgage, now we know he paid in cash ok, in that case before the purchase can be even started to go through legally he has to show proof he has the money, this is usually a bank statement hence by doing so he will have already had the money in his account, apparently the purchase was made using money from his appearance on I'm a celebrity get me out of here, but putting that to one side hes a multi millionaire unlike us and like most MPs are would be able to purchase the house, Angela Reyna purchased her home in cash she would of gone through exactly the same process, anyone purchasing a house does. Basically he will have legal proof, but I do know what your getting at.

The bit that says he bought a house after taking a gift, he can prove it mate, he bought the house before receiving the gift, you see by law he has to have proof of funds which he has to show his solicitor, the selling estate agent and the selling people's solicitor under law every one who purchases a house has to it's law, it's called the anti money laundering regulations, so he has proof he purchased the house before he received the gift.
