Great to be back in wānanga for our Māori rugby kaupapa and within a covid landscape of managing everyone’s well-being. A reminder of the kaupapa of mauri ora, the heart of Te Koronga. Anti-racism is the tino rangatiratanga to seek and express our mauri ora in our own ways. #mot

Rangatahi and whānau ora are the highlights. Seeing our young people express themselves as Māori. One of the best things about Māori rugby is the opportunity to be Māori in all the many, many ways that it means to be Māori in a positive environment.

2/2 Kaupapa Māori is occupying the space to be Māori. Now we hold our space. Thank you to our whānau and our Māori Ministers who jumped on TK Monday (every Monday 9-11) this morn to offer us karakia to whakawātea us. We cried, we laughed, we prayed. #tekoronga

1/2 Week 1. We have closed the whare of Te Koronga for correspondence for the week to focus inwardly as we begin to heal. One of the lines of the karakia Te Koronga borrows its name from talks about covering the fissures of the doors and walls, to block out the outside world.
