Today's small-sided game, created by @hahn97_t , deals with the topic of halfspace switches. In order to improve the diagonal attack after those switches, the shape of the field resembles a butterfly ensuring a lot of diagonal passing. What do you think?⚽️ thefalsefullback.com/2020/11/10/pra…

In today's small-sided game, everything revolves around the practice of pressing triggers. For this purpose, we again use an octagonal pitch, which is divided into nine zones on the basis of which different rules for the pressing team are introduced thefalsefullback.com/2020/11/06/pra…

@TFF_eng Can you explain the concept of steering? Is that similar to forcing play in a certain direction?

In today's small-sided game, our goal is to improve our attacking play by using a striker as a layoff passing option triggering runs behind the last line. Therefore, we make use of the ice hockey rule and different zonal constraints. What is your take on it?😃

In today's small-sided game, we focus on the topic of information gathering, processing and decision-making. Therefore, different colors, as well as an unusual field form, are used. Feedback, as always, much appreciated💪⚽️ thefalsefullback.com/2020/11/04/sma…

@jamaajoy @Pep_Fiction there are not predetermined rules for the zones. They should function more as an orientation support for the players. However, one could think about rules such as, never more than four players in the same horizontal line

Today's small-sided game focuses on the topic of counter-pressing. The diagonal position of the counter goals ensures that the counter-pressing team needs a good structure already in possession of the ball in order to be able to cover all goals with the cover shadow💪⚽️

In today's small-sided game, we want to focus on improving our pressing, in particular the use of the cover shadow. Therefore, this 5v4 is played with triangular mini-goals in the centre. What's your take on today's small-sided game?

Throughout the next month, we will present you with a new small-sided game every day. First up, a game-related form in which principles in possession can be trained. Especially, the build-up and the possession phase in the middle third are the focus of this SSG.
