The quality of political commentary and news coverage on this app would increase 1000x if people weren’t able to monetize it.
There are an insane number of spineless idiots who will literally take both sides of a political issue just to drive engagement and maximize clicks.
Not to mention, half of these people post and boost conspiracies, fake photos, and fake stories while knowing they aren’t true.
Stop paying these people for clicks. The more shameless they act, the more clicks they get. The more clicks they get, the worse the public becomes, and the more they’re incentivized to keep doing it.
It’s also becoming increasingly obvious to others how much engagement this nonsense gets. So now more losers with no spine or moral compass are jumping on the bandwagon, trying to become the next fake “journalist” on this app.
It’s like giving a baby candy every time it cries. If you never stop, the baby will keep crying because it knows the outcome will be the same every time.
End the monetization program or seriously reform it, @nikitabier

It’s more complex than that and I agree the sheer lunacy, quantity and virality can make response a double edged sword, but also what he says is true. This is turning into an unstoppable tsunami of madness and one of the highest priorities of Israel should be to recognize this war being waged against it is as existentially threatening as any it’s ever fought. Do you disagree with that? Charlie Kirk’s letter to Netanyahu a year ago articulated this perfectly imo.There’s no easy solution but it’s a code red emergency and needs to be strategically fought as such. And attacking people like the moderate case is not helpful.

Israel’s government is committing suicide by failing to address many of the ridiculous allegations thrown at it.
I have spent the better part of the last three years doing my best to combat many of the lies and false narratives about Israel and its government, but it really isn’t any American’s obligation to do this.
I do it because I think it’s the morally right thing to do, especially in the face of the hatred much of the Jewish community is experiencing, but it is mentally draining and physically exhausting.
Israel isn’t perfect, and no country should be expected to be, but they are horrendous at PR. Truly awful.
If the government cannot do its part, outsiders are eventually going to grow tired of doing their job for them, especially when it was never the outsiders’ responsibility in the first place.
