@Caitlin_MSW2020 Yes! This is what people mean by defunding the police. It doesn’t mean to get rid of the police, that’s crazy. But a lot of the calls police respond to are for non violent issues. That is where social workers can come in to help. We are trained for that. #SUSocialWork

@_mikaliartice I’m not too sure about this, I don’t think users of hard drugs should be criminalized, but on the other hand what incentive do they have to not want to partake in them? I think there should be some type of repercussions before it becomes too late. #SUsocialwork

While I agree anxiety is increasingly rising during the pandemic, the lack of attention towards men dealing with anxiety compared to women seems biased unethical to not offer the screening option to men as well as women beginning at age 13. #SUsocialwork
