Has anyone got any tips when it comes to searching for agents?
And by that, I mean "middle ground" agents who would pick up debut authors. #WritingCommunity#writing
@BoldickV There are two main religions in my world.
There's the Church of the Fallen God, basically claiming that God fell from the heavens and that is what caused a nuclear holocaust centuries prior.
The other is being worked on, but they worship a malevolent ai.
Let's talk religion in your worldbuilding
If you have a religion in your story, did you make it up? Is it based on any real-world religions?
Mainwip has ties to Christianity, but I did change a few things. Bandwip has ties to the pantheonic religions

@justin_author Horatio Bloomsfield is the wealthiest in the Collective because he created the infrastructure in the first place.
It isn't known how much data he is worth, but there are whispers of his worth being over ten terabytes.
A name for my new fantasy YA WIP has just appeared out of nowhere, as they often do. Searched it and a YA novel with the same name already exists 😭

@akhkjp Yeah that's not my issue. I feel like I've wasted all that time on a single idea, and my faith in it has diminished.
On a positive note, my second WIP has me very excited. Not sure which to focus my time on.
So I'm in a bit of a dilemma.
Lately I'm starting to lose faith in my WIP. It doesn't help that my new idea is more exciting for me. I can't gather the enthusiasm for my first book.
It feels like I've wasted years on an idea for nothing.
