@BoldickV There are two main religions in my world. There's the Church of the Fallen God, basically claiming that God fell from the heavens and that is what caused a nuclear holocaust centuries prior. The other is being worked on, but they worship a malevolent ai.

Oh my god, Dune 2 leaves part one in the dust! Epic and to say it's visually stunning does not do it justice.

Watched Dune Part 2 today and what an experience! Blows part 1 out of the park, and that's saying something.

@TFenix91 It's also pretty certain that the third movie, if it happens, will be entirely based on the second book, Dune Messiah.

Going to see Dune Part 2 on wednesday. After rewatching part 1 on netflix, it's given me the urge to read the book!

@TFenix91 Definitely read the book. A lot of nuance left out of the movie, but it's still a great adaptation.

@klhicks912 I try to. Whether it's editing my manuscript, plotting my new WIP, or article writing, I normally get my quota in.

@decarteret_john I do. I get zero engagement these days. It's come to the point where I'm about to share something then think, what's the point?

@amrsalehduat Characters for me, from there I develop the theme, then I mold the story around those.

@akhkjp Yeah that's not my issue. I feel like I've wasted all that time on a single idea, and my faith in it has diminished. On a positive note, my second WIP has me very excited. Not sure which to focus my time on.

@TFenix91 Hey I have 3 wips going at once.

So I'm in a bit of a dilemma. Lately I'm starting to lose faith in my WIP. It doesn't help that my new idea is more exciting for me. I can't gather the enthusiasm for my first book. It feels like I've wasted years on an idea for nothing.
