This Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month, we encourage you and everyone you know to learn how to save lives: Recognize sudden cardiac arrest. If a person is unresponsive and not breathing normally, assume it is SCA. Call 911 and follow dispatcher instructions. Start #CPR. 👏❤️

A brand new #ZollAED has now been installed in place of the old Defibrillator at the Mouchak #Tonyrefail Sadly, the Defib at the Mouchak has been accessed on 3 occasions in a matter of weeks.

The cabinet at Gilfach Goch Legion has been replaced with a new one, the Defib is back, rescue ready on the circuit. Our thoughts are with the family who had to use the Defib last week

Another notice to say the pads had expired...this time at Coedely Club. Maintaining these life saving machines is equally as important as fundraising and purchasing them. The Circuit has also been updated to show the expiry date on the new set of pads.

It was a privilege to be asked to visit and speak to the Yr7 @TCS_HWB Apart from explaining what we have achieved as a group of volunteers in community, it was an opportunity to thank the younger generation for the part they play in looking after/ respecting each Defibrillator.

It was a pleasure to have been invited into @williamstown5_6 this morning. 48 pupils received an awareness session on Basic Life Support skills /CPR, including the use of a Defibrillator. Many thanks to the school for their continued support 💚
