Today on Earl Woods’ birthday, we honor a veteran, pioneer and mentor. Before many knew him as Tiger’s father, he was one of the first Black baseball players in the Big Ten and a U.S. Army Green Beret. His belief in education and service lives on through every student we serve.

This year, we celebrate 20 years since launching the Earl Woods Scholar Program to honor the life and legacy of the late Earl Woods. The program has empowered scholars to pursue higher education, build meaningful careers and give back to the communities that shaped them.

February was a milestone month. We officially kicked off our 30th anniversary campaign, celebrated 20 years of impact at the TGR Learning Lab Anaheim at Beyond 20 and marked the 100th playing of The Genesis Invitational.
