The left eat their own sir. Never do the right thing and expect them to praise you unless the left came up with the idea. If it helps the right out in any way they will crucify u for it. The level of divisiveness from the left is crazy. I saw one guy complain to you here about gas prices and inflation ( which were higher by far under the previous administration) as if that had anything to do with this. I don’t agree with you often but it always takes courage to do the right thing and you and Trump both should be praised for not playing politics here.

@mattvanswol Ya i have now switched to trying to find a local church that i feel i can truly trust. One that gives to the community through multiple avenues as well as missions to get the word out.

I hate to say it… But I’m struggling to be generous after all the fraud we’ve seen. There’s so few charities I trust now. I do a deep dive on a homeless charity… oh look, my tax dollars are funding that and it’s run by a Trump-hating Leftist. A Christian charity? Oh look, they’re helping illegal aliens. An education nonprofit? Oh look, it’s getting money from Left-wing political groups to send in Democrat activists to give lectures on LGBTQ oppression. Even my TAX DOLLARS I know are being used to fund some BS non-profit that probably has me on a list somewhere as an extremist and is actively trying to cancel me. It’s hard to be generous when I’m already being generously stolen from in taxes and when even the nonprofits aren’t actually solving the problems they reportedly exist to solve.

@SonofManwithus I think this is where modern translation causes confusion. @grok if you take the “do this in remembrance of me” and look at the context of the time and original translation does communion make sense?

This has never made sense to me. At the Last Supper when Jesus broke the bread and shared the wine... He said "do this in memory of me". I know the catholic church and some other denominations have communion. But I always interpreted that as having a meal of fellowship in his name. Eating and having a drink, talking about our lord and loving each other. Am I way off base?

Who has more power, Jews or Catholics? "You know what the total Catholic population is worldwide? It's like 1.2, 1.3 billion. Jews are 15 million, but Jews are decentralized." "Here's what my challenge is. I've never had any issues with Jews. I've never had any issues with Catholics, but they have issues with each other."

Uh His statement is correct. This is like saying a square isnt a rectangle. Each tribe is part of the jewish religion. They are all jews. Your clarification is also correct but it doesn’t make the fact that 144,000 jews are chosen. That being said, where does the virgin part come from?? Gonna need a chapter verse there cuz I’ve never heard or read that.

I get what you are trying to say but that is in fact what the Christian label means. You accept Jesus as your savior and surrender yourself. Each denomination are details that dont matter and are us just doing our beat to interpret what God wants so we can properly honor Him. Your core point, i believe, is that those details dont really matter and we likely all have it at least partially wrong. I concur there.

Agreed. I will say i do get confused by the attacks of Jews by Catholicism in particular as they both have the same fundamental flaw of putting Tradition equal to or greater than scripture. Jesus Himself commented on this. It essentially the main rebuke of Israel at that time and yet Catholics in the 1500s( I believe) literally stated Tradition = Scripture. Genuinely curious how that sits with Catholics today? Judaism decided to double down on theirs with the addition of the Talmud and Kaballah but they dont recognize Jesus as the messiah so that doesnt really contradict their beliefs.

Agreed. My belief is that the Rapture will trigger this fundamental change in the American / Israeli alliance but the more the world changes the less i think that the Rapture is necessary for that to happen. America is slowly losing its Christian foundation. It’s extremely sad to see.

It won't stop with detaching from Israel. Even if America cuts all ties with Israel, it won't be enough to satisfy. Because antisemitism is insatiable. It will eventually lead to America joining the nations of the world to militarily destroy Israel. Then Christ will come. x.com/tuckercarlson/…

Uh sort of. God did for sure change HOW we saw the Old Testament through Jesus. All of a sudden sacrificing animals for instance is def not required and was literally just done as a way for us to understand what Jesus’ sacrifice really meant. At the same time understanding the real meaning of things such as Tetelestai on the cross cant happen without historical context and his reference to Psalm 22 is totally different when you look at it as a reference and not Him crying out to God as forsaking Him. I tend to lean her way. Interpretation of God’s direction He intends for us is changed by Jesus through His teachings and the New Testament. The Old Testament ( and Historical knowledge ) is needed for critical context. Without it you cant have full understanding. And there is so much nuance in the Bible i learn new things all the time because of the context of the Old Testament that i never knew. In the end you have to do whatever you think honors God, but the traditions of the Old Testament are not required by God. The Intention of it stands and was reinforced and clarified by Jesus and the New Testament.

Something that has transformed my understanding of scripture is this: Using the New Testament to interpret the old instead of using the Old Testament to dissect the new. If you do the latter your ideologies will be Jewish and literal. If you do the first you’ll see everything spiritually through the lens of Jesus Christ and the fulfilled covenant.

No an equal number would not oppose mass deportations. We def dislike war more than kicking illegal immigrants out of our house. That being said, its not a thing we “love” either. If i lived in another country id do everything i could do get to America. I dont hate illegals for trying but that doesnt mean its sustainable. We have to enforce the law. One thing id love to see is both sides come together and agree to mass deportations at the same time they improve and streamline legal immigration. If the democrats were open to that ( which it is clear they are not ) then that would be a perfect solution imo.

@MattWalshBlog Maybe if he's successful with Iran it will embolden him to do mass deportations. Or to put it another way. Many Republicans oppose this conflict in Iran. An equal number would oppose mass deportations. If he gets away with one he can get away with the other.

If Trump is going to spend huge amounts of political capital on something ugly and difficult but necessary, it should be mass deportations of every single illegal alien regardless of age or criminal record, and defying every judge who tries to stop him. That is the kind of war, the kind of risky move with potentially disastrous political ramifications (but maybe not), that I would get behind every step of the way and so would millions of ordinary Americans. It’s an extreme measure that must be done and if Trump doesn’t do it, it’s likely that no one ever will.

Bro i hear ya but you cant be so antiwar that it is NEVER ok. What exactly was the alternative? Iran has been classified as a major threat by both parties for decades and has openly stated they want us wiped out. That regime is zealous and even refused free fuel for energy paid by us. They were not going to make a deal. I also hate war, but what did you want him to do? Complaining about it with no solution is not helpful.

“The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.” Romans 14:6 Traditions have no bearing whatsoever on salvation but in the end you have to do whatever you believe honors the lord. For Jewish ppl that grew up in Judaism, it likely difficult to abandon tradition completely and truly feel like you are honoring God. You do NOT have to give up being jewish, but at the same time, as a Christian, you realize its not for exactly the same reason as it was prior to baptism in the spirit.

That’s not accurate. Jesus never breaks His covenants—God is faithful even when people are not. Christianity isn’t a different religion from Judaism; it’s the fulfillment of it. The only real difference is whether one recognizes Jesus as the promised Messiah. If we had lived in first-century Israel, most of us would likely have been among the crowd calling for His crucifixion. Yet even then, Jesus prayed from the cross: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Being a Christian is not a sign that God loves us more than the Jewish people—it’s purely a gift of grace. It means we’ve been washed clean by His blood and brought near to God through faith in the very Messiah the Jewish Scriptures foretold. As for the idea that God has abandoned Israel, the Bible actually shows the opposite. Roughly two-thirds of the book of Revelation focuses on God’s ongoing faithfulness to the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. The Church is removed from the earth early in the book (seen in heaven with the Lord), and it doesn’t reappear on earth until Christ returns in glory. During that time of tribulation, many will turn to God—including a massive turning among the Jewish people. Scripture indicates they will recognize their error when the Antichrist desecrates the rebuilt temple, leading many to finally embrace Jesus as their Messiah (see Zechariah 12:10 and Romans 11:25-26). God’s covenant with Abraham’s descendants has never been canceled. The New Covenant doesn’t replace the old one—it extends and fulfills it through Christ.

@rabbriansamuel Jews abandoned the covenant of God and worshipped false gods, Jews turned Jesus over to be executed. Jesus came to rebuke the Jewish religion and his covenant are with the followers of christ. Not those who rejected him.

Some claim that Jews worship a different God than Christians because they do not believe in the Trinity. But Paul writes in Romans 10:2: “For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.” Paul clearly affirms that their zeal is directed toward God. If he believed they were worshiping a different deity altogether, he would not have spoken this way. This is not language he would ever use for pagans devoted to idols.

This is confusing value of an individual with value of action. We obviously dont love everything humanity does and in fact believe the human condition makes us all unlovable. Thats why God loving us enough to die for us is so miraculous. We all have inherent value and he sees that potential. Because of that we should see that potential in every one of our fellow men. That DOES not mean we love everything they do. Heck i dont love everything I do. Tbh until I had children and got as close to unconditional love as a human can get i didnt fully understand this concept. Also, just because we are supposed to recognize that everyone has inherent value doesnt mean we succeed at it. It can be a battle especially at first until seeing ppl that way almost becomes the knee jerk reaction. No one except God is perfect there.
