All this to say, we love our little guy and are super excited to reach his first birthday. Celebrating what was meant for August in late April is weird, but we gave up on normal long ago. Happy birthday, Gosling! Let's bury those terrifying memories in many years of joy together!

For those who have been through NICU hell, I understand the terror and pain you go through and hope for a quick, happy escape. For those that haven't been trapped in those halls, I pray you never face those horrors.
