Today, we celebrate the next generation of physicians as they begin the journey into residency training. We are grateful for those choosing to train in medically underserved areas, where welcoming new, dedicated physicians to community-based settings helps improve access to care.

We're excited that Technical Assistance Center members will be participating in a @theNASEM workshop to explore how changes in graduate medical education, including policy reforms, optimized data collection, and outcome reporting, can enhance patient access to care.

During a recent hearing of the U.S. Congressional Ways and Means Committee, Technical Assistance Director, Emily Hawes, highlighted the impact of the @HRSAgov Teaching Health Center GME program and the importance of training physicians in community-based settings. Listen below.
