@Joshua_Ariza The issue is somebody in Hollywood decided scenes needed to be filmed like photography sets with focus on the characters and blurring behind them. That's what the uncanny feeling is.

why do movies look surreal now. Not just fantasy stuff. new movies have veneer of staging that movies even 10 years ago never had. something about cameras maybe?
