Jaden Ivey was waived from the Chicago Bulls for saying this: "They proclaim Pride Month in the NBA. They show it to the world. They say, 'Come, come join us for Pride, for Pride Month, to celebrate unrighteousness.'"
True. No lie spoken. Shouldn't surprise you that within hours, the Bulls waived Ivey after he made the statement saying his video was "detrimental to the team." People are calling him psycho for this.
A sports writer named Seth Davis said, "Jaden Ivey is 24 years old, which is the time when many serious mental illnesses onset. If that is what is happening, I truly hope he gets the help he needs. I pray for his health and peace of mind." This is in response to that short clip that we played you…
This is 1 Corinthians 1. The world sees the gospel of Christ, the message of the Bible, as foolishness. Remember, they called Jesus insane, too. They called the early followers of Christ insane. There are several players who have not only said degenerate things, but who have done degenerate things like been found guilty of domestic violence, who have paid for abortions for their baby mamas, who are just degenerate, lawless people. But all of that is fine, but basic Christian doctrine is beyond the pale?
Share the arrows with Jaden Ivey. Pray for him. Send him a message and say, "Great job. Praying for you. Standing with you."
This is no small thing to lose your job and to possibly lose your job in the industry that you love forever by saying something that is blatantly true, good, and actually loving. Stand with, share the arrows with Jaden Ivey.
