@THFCJACK92 A bit inconsistent but an excellent player when on it. I don't necessarily see where he fits though except for depth. I don't see him as 10, which we need to look for if we're replacing Lo Celso.

@THFCJACK92 A great athlete with good technical ability. Is able to play a box-box, no10 or as a wide winger if pushed. High ceiling and will be an England regular after more game time. I believe he is a Stevie G type player

@York5pur We don’t but we should. But that’s a different debate! I’d love us to go for Gyokeres. 10 mil more than richy doesn’t seem out of our reach but the issue is we need more funds elsewhere. I’m praying for some good sales. Hojbergs stock has risen this euros

@THFCJACK92 Absolutely. It’s a poor inditement of modern football but £50m doesn’t even guarantee you quality now. Gvardiol went for £80m last summer and Gyokeres will go for £70m plus. We don’t have the clout to compete.

Anyone actually know enough to have an opinion on Grey? Worth 35/40 mil? Starter? Take bissouma out the team?

@York5pur Agreed. But the dream is to get to a point where we use our academy properly, but the best young players (like we do in fairness) and then you have the budget for 1 key signing that will take you to the next level now.

@THFCJACK92 This season is Bissouma’s last chance IMO, he needs to step up. We’re slowly building a very good, young squad. I’d much rather see that than us wasting another £50m on an Ndombele

@York5pur I can get on board with that. And you never know bissouma might come good. Or grey progress faster than we think. The talk on grey is generational talent so I’m definitely not against it!

@THFCJACK92 I agree we need a top class 6 but they are a rare breed this days. I’d struggle to name one that’s within our reach? I think it’s more likely we might not get a 6 this summer and concentrate on another forward if we bring Gray in

@York5pur I don’t mean to put a downer on it but my concern is 6 is still a weakness and we need 2 forwards and Ange apparently wants a CB. Just hope we can still get the areas we need for next season

@THFCJACK92 He’ll be a 6 eventually but he’s a box to box midfielder at the moment. Technically very good and loves a tackle, doesn’t rely on pace either and reads the game very well. He’ll be cover for Porro and rotate with Sarr IMO.

@thfc_OB Yeah I suppose it’s the cost of top talents. I just think we need 2 forwards minimum so hopefully we find the budget for that as well

@THFCJACK92 Idk, I think Ange is planning on having Sarr, Bentancur and Maddison as the starting midfield with Bissouma coming in when a bit more press resistance is needed from deep, based on that and the 6 market being dead bar Wieffer it's probably a smart move. Gray can play RB as well

@dickmillers Yeah I can see that. Grey or bissouma fighting it out/rotating. I suppose we’ve had Udogie and Sarr getting lots of minutes at similar ages so let’s see
