Trooper Nick Lyons joined the Fall Branch ranks today! Trooper Lyons is a recent graduate of Class 97, which is compiled of Troopers who are already certified law enforcement officers. Trooper Lyons is assigned to Washington County, & he is pictured with FTO Trp. K. Wilking.

We find it disturbing, too. 🏍️ This Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, we’re encouraging safety on the road for everyone. Just like seat belts & car seats, motorcycle helmets are tested and proven to help prevent serious injury in a crash or wipeout. Gear up for every ride!

This week the THP is hosting a motorcycle skills training event at Bristol Motor Speedway. Officers from 16 law enforcement agencies across six states are participating. All proceeds from this event support Speedway Children’s Charities Bristol. 🏍️ @ItsBristolBaby

Troopers Maxey, Goode, & Daniels assisted the Hancock Co. SO🚓, Sneedville FD🚒, & Hancock Co. Rescue Squad🚑 with the Prom Promise event for the Hancock Co. Middle & High Schools. THP utilized the @TNHSO Seat Belt Convincer, & a mock fatal crash scene was shown to the students.

Trooper Cameron and the Journey Program recently had Impaired Driving and Drunk Goggles Day 🥽 🥃 🚘 Trooper Cameron explained to participants what impaired driving can cause, and participants had hands on time using the “Drunk Goggles”. Drive Sober, Arrive Alive ✅
