What a crazy ride it has been!
Your were one of the main reasons I rejoined NIP back in 2023 as I knew NIP would be heading in the right direction.
Now go take that well deserved break as I am sure you will do great things regardless of where you end up in the future. You might not longer be my colleague but you will always be my friend! ❤️
GLHF!

Today, I’m announcing that I’ve decided to leave NIP.
I joined NIP about four years ago, and about two years into my time here, someone had to step up and lead NIP’s esports department through a tough period, a challenge I took upon myself. There were a lot of risks for me, as I knew it would be an uphill struggle from the start with the community's perception of “NIP management”. But I accepted the challenge - I had a chance to make a difference from the inside.
I lived and breathed NIP for the past years, always prioritizing my staff and players, their needs, and their challenges. I wanted to make people excited for NIP again, I wanted to bring back the NIP legends, and I wanted us to be more communicative so people could follow the journey. I wanted so much, and it makes me extremely happy to see that the community is starting to see it, based on the recent positive momentum.
But while I lived and breathed NIP and wanted so much, life outside was still ongoing. During the past year, I slowly lost an important person in my immediate family, and I wasn’t there for them; I was completely absorbed in NIP. It’s time for me to take care of my private life and family for a while. With that being said, I’m heartbroken to leave NIP. I’m leaving not because I want to, but because I need to.
People have asked me why I would go through all this hard work to quit before I can reap the fruits of my work. It’s true that when you look in the NIP history books, you won’t see any big trophies during my time here. But I’m filled with pride and joy when I think about what the people who worked with me will say about my role in NIP esports history. It’s a great feeling as a leader and a human being, knowing you gave everything you could for everyone around you. The foundation is laid, and if NIP esports is allowed to continue according to plan, we will have many great NIP memories ahead of us.
The plan now is to spend time with my friends and family over the summer, and then we’ll see what’s next for me. Maybe I stay in esports, maybe I don’t, time will tell.
This has been more than a job, it has been an honor. To all NIP fans and everyone else out there, take care, life is short. ❤️

I want to thank @nip for the past year. I will search for a new team as an awper but I am also open to rifling on a team as well. I can still give a lot even on a rifle, I have learned a lot as a player and a person the past year. 1/2

As we look to get our team ready to compete in 2025, NIP and Maxster have come to the mutual decision to move forward separately. Today, we are announcing that Maxster has moved to the bench and we will be supporting him as he looks for the next step in his professional journey. We want to thank Maxster for his incredible contributions to the team over the years, and can't wait to see him tear up the server wherever he goes next.
Thanks, Super Max!

While our CS Main team now travels to the RMR to show the world what they're capable of, I have some exciting news to fans of Swedish CS! 🇸🇪
With the help of our ever faithful partner Red Bull Sweden I'm happy to tell you more about [SWE] CS Summit that we'll host in less than two weeks.
Looking back a bit more than 1 year ago, we were a group of Swedes at NIP with the urge to do something to help Swedish CS. NIP is a Swedish CS org, from Sweden, with a lot of Swedes behind the scenes. That urge lead to many ideas, you've seen some of them like the recent announcement of f0rest coming back. Getting these legends closer to today's CS is a core part of nurturing the Swedish CS scene.
Now, we can finally tell you about another one of these ideas, which is to gather many of Sweden's CS legends and stakeholders under one roof, the [SWE] CS Summit. To share experiences, mistakes, and learnings. To look each other in the eyes and have very honest and open discussions on how we can work better together. To be part of panels, watch inspiring guest lecturer and attend workshops. To make us all better, to make Swedish CS better.
While NIP and Red Bull Sweden are hosting this, it's very important to note that NIP is just one of many teams, profiles and stakeholders there. When we sent out the invitation emails we quickly learned that the interest and appreciation for something like this was huge, so we're proud to say that all big stakeholders in Sweden will attend, including many Swedish legends.
I will of course be there myself and I'm very excited to meet all the other participants and to see what will be the outcome of the day. I'm not saying we'll solve everything related to Swedish CS in one day, but this sure is one great step in the right direction. 💛💙
