@bucs2829 She is the most left-leaning Republican and she got a LOT of crossover Biden voters. Probably her last term and she very well could want to actually pass bills rather than continue with stalemate.

If Susan Collins wins (far from clear) Biden and Schumer need to talk her into doing what her fellow Maine senator Angus King did and become an independent caucusing with the Democrats.
